2005 Version - Build 0614 - May 20th., 2005

  • Implemented new concept to mark as a "frequency conflict" when executing the "Check Frequencies" (Heats and Mains Setup) if two "Frequency IDs" are using MHz very close to each other (See Frequencies Setup screen).
  • Fixed error that did not allow to access some features while upgrading from Standard to PRO Version and from PRO to Super PRO.
  • Minor fixes on Practice Mode.
  • Minor fixes on the HTML file generated by "Mains Finals Report".

2005 Version - Build 0613 - May 15th., 2005
JLap 5th Anniversary

  • PRO Version becomes the Super PRO Version which includes all previous add-ons (J201, J202, J203, J204, J205 and J206) completely FREE of charges for customers with valid UTSA.
  • Standard Version becomes the PRO Version for customers with valid UTSA.

2005 Version - Build 0612 - May 10th., 2005

  • Fixed errors on HTML files for Heats Standings and Mains Finals.
  • Remove the word "seconds" from the Practices lap time announcements.

  • Fixed error while saving the current Event.

2005 Version - Build 0604 - February 10th, 2005

  • New optional module (J205) to broadcast the Racer Director screen to the Internet. The data is transferred in real time (requires a permanent Internet connection while running the races).
  • New optional module (J206) to control external devices while running the races. It supports up to five devices that can be connected via the Serial Port or to other computers using TCP/IP protocol. The devices can be configure to control LED scoreboards, Drop Gates devices, Start/Stop lights, BetaBrite LED electronic signs and others.
  • Included support for all SAPI5 compatible Voice Engines, including AT&T Natural Voices, NeoSpeech, Cepstral and others.
  • Included support for the new DSM (Digital Spectrum Modulation) radios and modules.
  • Included feature to confirm and or modify which racers will bump up to the next Main.
  • Included new Track Records management and reports.
  • Improved error handle routines to avoid popup messages while running the system. Any abnormal condition will be recovered and the message will show only when the user closes the system.
  • Included feature to show Racer's country flag or Team flags to be shown on Race and Scoreboard screens.

Version 2004 - Last Build 0528 - February 4th, 2005 (No further upgrades for this version)

- Fixed error while checking for paper size for some printers.

- Fixed error that caused a race that was already completed to show as not completed after a user mistake.

Build 0527- December 10th., 2004

- Due to a missed module on the Build 0525 and 0526, the Frequencies Table couldn't be modified.

Build 0526 - December 9th., 2004

- Due to a missed module on the Build 0525, the DNS status was not changing to OK to indicate which transponders had been checked before the race starts.

2004 Version - Build 0510 - March 26th, 2004

- New Home screen to allow better navigation.
- New Speed Trap mode to allow to measure top speed using two loop detections.
- New Practice mode that shows all the laps information for each car at the track. Also, it may announce lap times for each racer and generate HTML files.
- Included support for ROAR Qual-Points 2004 rules. The 2003 and 2002 rules are still supported via special configuration.
- New algorithm to accept any size and format of the client logo.
- Included Hits and Signal Strength tolerance to allow weak transponder signals.
- New HTML help system.
- Included support to any SAPI-4 Text-To-Speech engine. That includes AT&T Natural Voices which has a much better voice quality than the standard Microsoft TTS. (Third party engine NOT included).
- Included option to keep a transponder that was not signed up for the race to be used for that car to the rest of the Event.

- Include support to up 999 frequencies ids.
- Fixed errors that would occurred on very specific configurations:
- While running Mains with bump-ups and multiple monitors. The dialog informing the racers who had bump up would show on the other monitor, giving the impression to the race director that the system had hung up.
- Fixed speed information that would be wrongly calculated for a few configurations.
- Fixed other minor errors reported by our customers.

2003 Version - Build 0400 - April 14th, 2003

  • New module to generate and print the reports using another system task. By using this multitask capability; the required time between races is reduced to a few seconds.
  • New navigation system to quickly move from one screen to another without going to the Home screen (See small Helmet icon at the bottom of the screens).
  • New Automatic Disk Cleanup module to keep the number of Events and the Database size to the user's requirement. The module automatically makes an intelligent backup before deleting any Event and their related data.
  • New folder structure to allow easier disk space management.
  • New Car Numbers, Address and Radio Impound Labels module to accept several different label forms.
  • New module to automatically backup databases at the end of each round.
  • New module to generate and print the Standings at the end of each round.
  • Modified the algorithm to calculate the time between races. Now, it considers the end of the race and not the end of the printout of that race to calculate the start time for the next race.
  • New options to make announcements before and after each race.
  • Included option to disqualify a racer after race is over (Status: “DSQ”).
  • Changed algorithm to inform the Race Director of low signal transponders.
  • Included option to have a random delay before playing the “Start Race” sound when running races with “Full-field Starting”.
